We managed to get ready and out the door for conference on time! I even managed to have some breakfast too. Conference was brilliant again. They have put a projector on the wall half way back and had a camera on the speaker so that you could see them properly. As the Presidency were being released, it wasn't like a usual Stake Conference. Ian Govier has been called a the Stake President, Peter Evans as 1st Counseller and Matthew Jones as the 2nd. They all bore their testimonies of the gospel, both newly called and released. It was touching to hear what they had to say. Elder Donaldson and Elder Pekishta (sp?) spoke again, giving excellent talks. It's so hard to try and focus on what is being said with a wriggle bottom next to you, but i managed to get half a listening ear on it!
After the Conference was over, Sian Jenkins sung, 'We keep a welcome in the hillside' to the two visitors and they were presented with a mining lamp. A lovely tradition they have when members of authority visit the stake. We all went into the Relief Society room to witness them all being set apart for their calling.
We went back to P and P's for din dins - Sam had Michelle Hoar down for the weekend too. It was a nice relaxing Sunday evening, with a bit of Ethan's screaming thrown in too. He's so tired bless him! Sam also showed some of his photo's from his Switzerland trip.
Ethan was straight to bed when we got in, he has just cried constantly for the last few hours as he is so tired. I cleaned up a bit from this morning and settled down to watch Downton Abbey. It's the last one next week! I also took some photo's of Lilsie for Tom and Ellice to see, as this was the dress they bought her;
She is such a happy little baby! I love my children so much! But i will say i'm glad half term is over. I like routine!
