Kayaking in Cardigan.

Jared was awake nice and early today ready to go kayaking with his mum. My time to do all of that is when Lills isn't so dependant on me. So we got up, washed and dressed and headed out to the drop off point where they begin their first proper kayak adventure. It wasn't too far from the house either, and as the Welsh Rugby thing was on, it was dead in town. We took the kayak off the roof and carried it to the water. I had a quick sit in it;

Jared actually carried it down the step himself - it's heavy enough when 3 people are carrying it!;

And off they go;

Ethan talking about where daddy has gone in the car when we got back;

I was about to walk to yum yums when they called to say they were on their way! We dropped them off at 10.45am and they called at 11.30am! We were expecting them to be more than two hours! We all stood out in the garden waiting for them, and you could just make them out in the distance; 

And they arrived!;

Ethan then joined them with his little life jacket on. Jared said that he would go to the bridge and back, but as we watched, they disappeared and didn't come back, as i thought they would. Turns out they decided to head to Poppet sands and back;

A little bit later, we got a call from Jared asking me to come and pick them up. The tide was going out and they were being dragged with it! As we pulled up, we saw them arriving and in the process hitting a bouy! Peter came with me and we sat in the car laughing! It was so funny to see. They both thought they were going to be thrown from the boat. Thankfully they weren't, even though it would have been so funny to watch!

The boat was too heavy to bring up to the car, so i took Ethan while Jared and Pauline paddled the boat back up to the house. We went home, got Ethan changed and both Ethan and I went to Yum Yum's in the Cardigan town centre. I love this shop - i need to take a picture of it inside, it's just amazing. We chose our sweeties and paid. I love their home made chocolates, even if they are expensive. We walked back to the house to find that Jared and Pauline still hadn't arrived home. It took them well over an hour and a half to get back along that little stretch. They were both exhausted. If Jared keeps it up he will have abs of steel! Wahey!

When they had got washed and dressed again, we went to the park with Ethan, stopping off in the kayaking shop to have a look. I did pick up two slices, which Pauline and i ate together that night.

Mangi started making a roast dinner for us while we went and picked some apples from the neighbouring garden. It was so much fun! I couldn't hide my excitement and tadgi loved how excited i was. I just know now that everytime i see him, he will remind me of the apple picking. He loves seeing others enjoy themselves, especially in Cardigan. I love this family so much. Ethan brought the bear with him;

It was so much fun! And some of the sizes of them were huge! Dinner was so yummy, i love a roast dinner. Once Ethan was in bed, we got the camera out to look at what i had taken that day. Jared seemed to be enjoying himself.

Another late night - i just can't seem to help myself.
