I LOVE EATING OUT!

Jared has warned me that he needs today to study, so i had to make myself scarce for the day. Charming! Luckily i had made plans to get out of the house anyway. I'd emailed a friend in the ward who has just moved in, inviting her to lunch. Ethan and i were all ready to go;

And went to pick Grace up. We went to Frankie and Benny's and had a really good chat. I got to know so much more about her and her family - it was fun! The food was so yummy too. I took Grace home and stopped in for a minute. I realised i hadn't taken my camera with me! Doh! Good job grace did;


I did think about going somewhere else with Ethan but i was pooped! I had to go home to just snooze. I really can't handle these late nights :( After recooping some energy, i took Ethan to B&Q to pick up a big piece of wood - i have an idea to solve Ethan's problem of track breaking;


Glue it down!!! I remember my Aunty Nicola doing it for her two youngest boys. It stopped them fighting over who broke the track up and worked a treat. I look forward to Ethan's reaction tomorrow. Perhaps in a few months Jared and i will paint it.

It's so annoying! He peels anything off anything. After he went to bed Jared and watched some more Fringe then i worked out. Jared gets so paranoid over the noisy because of our last house. We had a really abusive neighbour who would complain at the slightest thing. My arm kept knocking the door and he thought it was the neighbours..haha! Silly babes.

I managed to do a 20 minute work out - i couldn't handle Jared's freaking out anymore and left him to watch the typical man's Saturday night programme;

Tedious Ebay Posting.

I feel so much better today! Yippeeee! Ethan and i had a nice lazy morning together. While he watched Thomas the Tank i worked and and did a little cooked breakfast for us both. He loves bacon and eggs at the moment and asks for it all the time. After getting out of the bath, we heard a really loud noise outside our house. I looked out the window and saw that our washing machine was being taken! Farewell washing machine;




Good old council. Or gypsies. I'm not actually sure which.

Just before lunch, Ethan and i made some cookies together. I didn't have any plain flour so they did look more like mini cakes. Still tasty though. Ethan really got stuck in;



He made such a mess with the flour, i had to strip him off before he trapesed flour through the house;


After the smarties went we used Reese's peanut butter pieces. They tasted even better on the cookies.

After lunch, i got Ethan ready to walk over the Winchfawr road to the Post office to post some more ebay items. I could just wait till Jared gets in and go then but i don't want to go on the treadmill tonight. Pauline rung last night to have the Ethanator after she finished work today so i had to hurry. I set off at 2.30 to be back for 3.30 for Pauline. There is no flat - it's either up or downhill. It took a good 15 minutes to post everything and by the time i finished, it was 3.15!!! I have to walk 1.5 miles in 15 minutes pushing 3 stone up a hill! Argggggg! I will say i got my house just after 3.35pm and Pauline had only been waiting 5 minutes, yey! She took him with his jammies and would bring him back for bedtime.

Jared was home half hour later and suggested we get a take out and watch Fringe - my perfect date night! Jared got an Indian and i a Nando's salad (got to watch the weight seeeeeeee ;)). It was so nice to just be together without the little dictator running around between us. Haha. Ethan came home and went straight to bed and Jared and I watched some more fringe before beddies.

I have to say, i'm getting a little fed up of the ebaying. I don't mind listing and picture taking - it's the lack of protection sellers have. Surely the whole reason ebay works is because of people selling? I met another lady in the post office today that has had endless problems with people claiming their money back. She then spots them selling the item they bought on.. it's not right! What do you think?

I feel ERGH!

I've woken up this morning feeling a bit flu - ish - first time in ages! Jared did get up with Ethan for me so i could just have 15 minutes more in bed. Boohoo :( I don't have the car today so Ethan and i are going to have a day indoors. I really want to get started on my first Christmas frame so i spent the morning arranging the pictures and trimming them down. It looks so good! Il put a picture up nearer Christmas. One down, another load to go! Ethan sat next to me cutting and sticking - he loves getting involved with what i'm doing.

I didn't do much else in the day really. Bit boring for Ethan. When Jared got in he went to Blockbuster to get FRINGEEEE! We ordered it second hand for £8. He took Ethan with him for me to start din dins.

Ethan found a new place for his train track. Unfortunately it's not that practical during tea time;

Hahaha! I'm trying to get Ethan to eat his dinner. Instead he was picking holes in the table cover;





Ethan went to bed and Jared and i snuggles up for Fringe. I feel a little better tonight :)

It's Freeeezing!

For the time i went to bed last night, i felt quite refreshed this morning. When i got downstairs i just happened to see the sunrise, it's so beautiful to see;


When we got in the car, the temperature gauge said it was minus 7. It was really cold! Ethan and i shared bacon and eggs for breakfast then while he played with his trains i caught up on the last of the blogging. I have stuff i need to bag up for the post office too, but just can't be bothered. These jeans aren't showing any sign of giving up the stain so I'm going to have to see what stain removers Tesco have before i cancel.

I ordered Ethan's fancy dress costume last week and it came this morning. I actually can't stop laughing at it;



He is going to look so cute! The only problem i can foresee is him keeping it on. We have a trunk or treat every year in the Church car park and i can't wait to get Ethan into it.

After a morning of blogging, I text Esme and few others to come to the town park for a picnic and some playing - turns out only Es was available! We popped into Tesco together to get some foodies and i picked up my pictures. I'm really looking forward to getting started on my Christmas stuff! Esme gave me some more ideas of what i can make when on a tight budget. We all had some fun in the park together;







We stayed for a few hours until it was really starting to get cold. I have a missionary meeting to attend tonight and it suddenly dawned on me that i have to print the fliers off for the trunk or treat for them to hand out - Esme told me that she had inherited a laser jet printer and i could use hers, LIFE SAVER! I quickly whip up some invites and email them to her for printing. I managed to get enough cut out in time for tonight. The missionaries approached me with sorry faces - they had made a mistake with who they thought were feeding us. I felt bad for feeling cross. Hahaha!

We talked alot about the up and coming Pantomime in November which is going to be awesome! Jared's family and us are going to watch it the first Friday it's on. I had to dash home before 7.30 so Jared could go and watch his Spurs game, BAH! After he left, Emma and Jodie came over with the Visiting Teaching message.

Now i have the night by myself to do my blog and not work out and do Christmas present stuff but play on the computer and design a temple dress. Haha!;
I'm going to aim to get this made in the next 6 months. I did quickly pop into Ethan's room before bed to check if he was still in bed - He's pulled all the pages out of a book! I couldn't believe! NOT HAPPY!

Christmas Shopping

Today Ethan and i had a little lie in and took Jared to the bus station in our Pj's. I used to do it when my brother's and i used to share a car and my mum would always say, 'you'll be in trouble when your car breaks down!' Hopefully that will never happen!

when we got back home, i decided i needed to work out, but kept finding other things to do to put it off. I eventually got on it at 10.30 - wasting nearly 2 hours! On Sunday when the Missionary list was passed around i put my name on for today's lunch time, so after getting washed and dressed i made a proper packed lunch for them. They never showed up! I went by their house and called them a few times.. no sign! Oh well, Jared will have a posh lunch tomorrow.

After lunch Ethan and i ventured into town to pick up the last of the picture frames from wilkos - good job too as they were only 2 left! Clearly i hadn't thought this through - i had 4 picture frames and no bag to carry them in. I had to get Ethan to walk by pram while i balanced them on the seat. NOT A GOOD IDEA! Don't you just love that child that screams all the way through town? Thankfully i didn't have too far to walk to the car. I popped in Tesco to take back the mega expensive ink back and felt like i was being questioned. They even wanted to test it in a printer at the store, thankfully they didn't have the right one in. It made me laugh when the shop assistant said i could only exchange, called the manager over to authorise and he offered me either that or a refund. Haha! The customer service is so bad, it's like it's beneath them to show any manners. In fact, customer service in general is bad. Stupid prideful Brits.

After that joyful experience, i did a quick shop of things I'm lacking and took my CD of old pictures to be printed. I get to pick them up tomorrow to then start my Christmas presents. I'm so excited! I posted another load of eBay packages on the way home and saw this beautiful rainbow, it's the clearest i have ever seen;


I'm starting to feel a bit fed up of selling stuff and making constant trips to the post office but money it brings in is so nice. I hate it when i sell something and then find a stain i can't get out. I've sold a pair of jeans and a pair of black trousers that have stains. The black ones i can get away with, it's these stupid jeans. I might have to withdraw them and risk that dreaded bad feedback. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I started making dinner and found Ethan had got a hold of a red felt tip pen;

It's all on the carpet! Definitely going to have to get some carpet cleaner! After picking Jared up and eating dinner, all 3 of us just sat and chilled for an hour. Ethan kept wanting to see all our belly buttons - he would then blow on our tummy. His giggle when we did it to him is so cute. I wish i had filmed it. He has had quite a few late nights and even fell asleep in the trolley in Tesco so he went to bed dead on 7pm. I had a good few day's of blogging to catch up on so i spent the next 4 hours doing that while Jared worked out;


He's so dedicated to his fitness. I didn't get to bed until nearly midnight, I'm definitely going to be tired in the morning!

A Jam Packed Real Mature Monday. DOODEEDOODEEDOOOOOOO!

Today i had to make sure that Ethan and I were fully dressed and ready to go out before taking Jared to the bus stop. The doctor's appointment i booked last week has come around and I'm feeling a little nervous over it. As usual, we were waiting over 40 minutes to be seen and in the rush of getting ready, neither Ethan or I had had breakfast so we were both starving! I had been booked in with a female doctor and i have to say, she was great. She helped to put me at ease and to give myself a break from trying for a few months. I was booked in for a blood test to see if my body is missing anything and will contact the surgery at the end of the week for the results. We got home after 10.30am and poor Ethan was so hungry, he munched a load of food. Jared has given me a few odd jobs today on top of my own stuff so it's going to be busy! After eating, i popped on 'Bolt', one of the movies Jared hired last week for Ethan while i bagged up all the eBay stuff i sold on Saturday. Unfortunately the silk dress is coming back to me too, so ill have to try and re -sell that. I spent the next few hours going to the post office, council office, making some telephone calls and re listing on eBay. I do love being kept busy :)

I helped Esme move some chairs she bought for her 'soon to be' new house and she restitched the hem on a pair of trousers i sold on eBay. Little Ellie was being as cute as ever;

And Powlesy is a legend for mending the trousers! I'm just gutted that i found a stain and can't seem to get it out;

Poor Ethan hasn't had much playtime with his mummy today so after i came from Esme's i took him to Cyfatha Park. It was about 5.00pm so a lot of school kids were playing there too. Your not supposed to take pictures, so i did some on the sly;


Ethan makes me laugh so much - he lets the car slide down first and then follows;



He spotted the swing soon after so he was set for the next 15 minutes. Unfortunately i couldn't stay much longer - a lot of the older school kids were swearing and being abusive to each other. It makes my skin crawl to hear a 14 year old talking like a piece of muck! Ethan tantrumed out of the park and wouldn't even pose for a picture with me;

Luckily it was time to go and get daddy. It was coming up to 6 and it was freezing! I had to sit with my toes on the dashboard (sorry Cheryl!) to warm up a bit. After we picked Jared up we headed straight for Tesco to pick up some ink and snacks for tomorrow. Eve, Rhian and Marion have invited us for dinner and Family Home Evening tonight and I'm seriously looking forward to Eve's cooking. We still had some time to burn before dinner so we paid our rent to our Landlord - DD isn't an option to him!

The Adler-Davies clan are currently having their kitchen redone so have been making tea at Eve's boyfriend's house. For those who know the Adler-Davies clan, they are big tricksters! After eating a delicious roast dinner, Eve and Ben went to pick Georgia up to have FHE with us. While they were gone, we all stripped Ben's bed, turned the sheet inside out, placed the bed sheet over the top of the duvet and messed with the pillows. I couldn't really help from laughing so hard;

Ethan even got involved;

Marion was going to go through his clothes but decided it was a step too far. Good job too, Ben would have gone mental;

Eve gave a lovely spiritual thought on miracles and what we have to do to make them happen. Rhian started making brownie while the others played the buzz game on the PS2. It was fun;

It was way past Ethan's bedtime so we decided to go and skip Rhian's super yummy brownies :( They are so good;


Poor little Ethan has had such a busy day, he didn't know what to do with himself. When he finally settled, Jared studied while i bagged up some more eBay stuff that sold today. I replaced the ink in the printer for him, cleaned the printer heads and he started to print. After 3 print outs, it said it was out of ink!? That pack had cost £30! Jared had to stay up to finish some other uni work (he'd just remembered he had a presentation to do tomorrow) and i went to bed.

I'm glad that those uni day's are over for now!

Sunday Funday.

I was up earlier than anyone today, i love getting a good night's sleep! It's Merthyr Tydfil's Ward Conference so Beacon Height's has swapped ward times with them, letting us start at 10am instead of 9.30am. That half an hour makes such a difference. Jared is on Stake Young Men's so he attended the Ward Conference while Ethan and i stayed in Beacon Heights. Ethan was so good in Sacrament for me - i do feel a little more nervous when Jared isn't with me to help mantain the noise level.

I'm helping out in Nursey at the moment while the Bishopbric call some more leaders so i spent Sunday school in there playing with the little ones. The cover for the second half were away but i managed to slip into Relief Society to sort out the next activity. It was a good lesson too.

Peter and Pauline were also attending Merthyr Tydfil Conference (There usual Church time is 2pm) and with Nana and Grandad still down, we all went back to P&P's to have a dinner together. It was a really nice buffet spread with the chocolatey chocolate cake for pudding. I had quite a few slices - it was delicious!

After dinner we all just chilled out chatting. Philly was away at the Huddersfield convention and Sam had gone for sacrement in his own ward because he felt bad (aww!) going away for the next two weeks. Nana had bought Ethan some really snazzy Thomas Tank Jammies which he would NOT pose in;


Jared had hired a few DVD's on Friday and was desperate for me to watch 'The Blind Side', so tonight Sam was coming over to watch it with us. I have to say it was a good movie! Very heart warming. Definitly worth the watch. Jared procrastinated a little on his uni prep, so i went to bed to do some blogging while he packed his bags. Naughty naughty!
