Christmas Shopping and a Successful Swimming Attempt!

The weather last night was terrible! It was so windy and rainy and i woke a few times because of it. I even think it woke Ethan and he went to sleep in our bed. Cheeky! I had a brilliant lie in too, getting up at 8am. Lushhhhhhhhhh!

Esme came over to see my new hair, i'm glad that someone likes it! Jared's not too fussed. He keeps mocking me :( She stayed for a few hours and we had a good chat. I bought another Isabella Oliver top last week and it came this morning. It's so pretty;

There is a seller on Ebay selling two Isabella Oliver tops. If they go for the right price, Es and i will split the price. Hopefully i'll be able to complete my set!

I dropped Es off at home on the way to swimming - the rain still hasn't let up. Ethan loved the pool. He walked into the reception area and, in his own little way, was asking to go into the pool. Hahaha! He is such a cutie pie. I love my little boy. After a while in the pool, he tried to hide from me. I immediately picked him up and ran to the showers. Good job too as he'd pooed! I did not want a repeat from last time! He loved it though, i must go next week, just time the poo better.

After lunch i popped to Esme's to print off a voucher for Gap. Ethan has started to grow out of his clothes and i did the last clothes shop at Primark and regretted it. They just don't last. So, this time, i'm going to buy better quality stores, like Gap. The voucher is for 30% off so i'm going shopping! And this is what i bought;

£74 worth of stuff for £45. Not bad aye? I just need to get a few more things for him and then i think he will be done. He's now got more gap clothes than i have ever had! Of course i stopped off in Thorntons, and i munched a whole bag of butter tablet. Scrummy. I did pick up a few things for Jared for his stocking too..

I spent the evening catching up on th blogging and some ebaying. Jared has gone to football - he told me last night he wasn't... he just couldn't resist the pull! Haha.

A Bit of Time with my Mummy :)

My mum is freeee from the essay! We all spent a lazy morning together, watching Ethan's choice of movie. I think it was Bee Movie again? I had to catch up on some blogging before getting ready for the day.

Jade Smith gets married today so just about everyone was going to that, including Pete. Dad offered to have Ethan while Mum and i went to do some shopping at the town centre. I love child free shopping! We went to the town centre first and bought a few bits in Primark. I got a few stocking fillers for Jared and a Birthday present for Phillipa. Quick stop at Thorntons too for some butter tablet and chocs too. It was so busy in the town centre, i find it too much. I can't stand the rush that people go through, i am so glad i started early. We stopped for some food and a sit down too, i really felt yuck! I don't know what came over me?

After the town centre, we stopped at the home bargains on the retail park. Mum is Primary President and needed to get a few more bits ready for the Primary Christmas party. I helped her pick out a few bits - she only has £2 per child to spend, so choice was limited. She did get some good stuff though. As usual, when we got to the checkout, my mum couldn't find her card, eventually finding it in the car. The prices reflect the customer service - shouting across the isle, talking inappropriately, just gross! Factory fodder! Hahaha.

I had to head back tonight ready for Church tomorrow so when we got in it was pack up and go! Thomas offered to drive me instead of mum going. His willingness was suspicious...he wanted to go and see Ellice! Haha. I was ready to go home, but felt a little sad to leave everyone. We met Jared and Sam in Hereford before going home. I didn't get in until 10pm and just crashed in bed.

Christmas Shopping

Today Ethan and i had a little lie in and took Jared to the bus station in our Pj's. I used to do it when my brother's and i used to share a car and my mum would always say, 'you'll be in trouble when your car breaks down!' Hopefully that will never happen!

when we got back home, i decided i needed to work out, but kept finding other things to do to put it off. I eventually got on it at 10.30 - wasting nearly 2 hours! On Sunday when the Missionary list was passed around i put my name on for today's lunch time, so after getting washed and dressed i made a proper packed lunch for them. They never showed up! I went by their house and called them a few times.. no sign! Oh well, Jared will have a posh lunch tomorrow.

After lunch Ethan and i ventured into town to pick up the last of the picture frames from wilkos - good job too as they were only 2 left! Clearly i hadn't thought this through - i had 4 picture frames and no bag to carry them in. I had to get Ethan to walk by pram while i balanced them on the seat. NOT A GOOD IDEA! Don't you just love that child that screams all the way through town? Thankfully i didn't have too far to walk to the car. I popped in Tesco to take back the mega expensive ink back and felt like i was being questioned. They even wanted to test it in a printer at the store, thankfully they didn't have the right one in. It made me laugh when the shop assistant said i could only exchange, called the manager over to authorise and he offered me either that or a refund. Haha! The customer service is so bad, it's like it's beneath them to show any manners. In fact, customer service in general is bad. Stupid prideful Brits.

After that joyful experience, i did a quick shop of things I'm lacking and took my CD of old pictures to be printed. I get to pick them up tomorrow to then start my Christmas presents. I'm so excited! I posted another load of eBay packages on the way home and saw this beautiful rainbow, it's the clearest i have ever seen;


I'm starting to feel a bit fed up of selling stuff and making constant trips to the post office but money it brings in is so nice. I hate it when i sell something and then find a stain i can't get out. I've sold a pair of jeans and a pair of black trousers that have stains. The black ones i can get away with, it's these stupid jeans. I might have to withdraw them and risk that dreaded bad feedback. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I started making dinner and found Ethan had got a hold of a red felt tip pen;

It's all on the carpet! Definitely going to have to get some carpet cleaner! After picking Jared up and eating dinner, all 3 of us just sat and chilled for an hour. Ethan kept wanting to see all our belly buttons - he would then blow on our tummy. His giggle when we did it to him is so cute. I wish i had filmed it. He has had quite a few late nights and even fell asleep in the trolley in Tesco so he went to bed dead on 7pm. I had a good few day's of blogging to catch up on so i spent the next 4 hours doing that while Jared worked out;


He's so dedicated to his fitness. I didn't get to bed until nearly midnight, I'm definitely going to be tired in the morning!
