Failed Swimming Attempt.

I didnt get a chance to go back to the post office yesterday to top up any money i owed, so after getting ready for the day and running daddy to the bus stop, Ethan and I made the trip. I AM NEVER POSTING AN ITEM THERE AGAIN. EVER. I entered and endured the frostiness that is the customer service. I had a bit of a dispute with the delight that has worked there for a few years and felt that the owner's wife had taken my side. Clearly not. FROSTY THE SNOWMAN. I owed £11.87. Could she tell me that properly? No. So i drove to town and back to get some money back. She huffed and tapped her foot while i paid. I have to ask, WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE? And why on earth is she holding a huff? Stupid backwards town. Grr! So, i think i can safely say i won't be going there again, even if it means waiting 4 days to get to the Pant post office.

After that joyful meeting, i went to town to drop off my mum's clothes at the dres makers. There is a Thai lady in the market who does and excellent job of fixing stuff. Sa -wad -ee -ka! I also popped into my favourite store, Littlewoods clearance. I bought 7 dresses for £26. Lets see if i can make it back. I love earning money, it's so satisfying. I've had to put a ban on my spending on ebay as i'm not really seeing the profit and i have a big amount due to ebay. Oppps.

When we got home, i went upstairs to send some emails and came down to this;

Oh what fun! It was great to hoover up too - my dyson cannister is white. I fixed him some lunch and made a big pot of chilli for tea before packing up our stuff to go swimming. I always slightly unsure of going, due to our fun time last time. Thankfully he had pooed already for the day so the chances of it happening again are slim. I just finished packing up the bag when Ethan had a massive coughing fit. So bad that he started wretching. I got him to the toilet 2 times too late. He was sick in the toilet, then turned to me before hitting the carpet again. Great. Swimming is off the table. I don't mind cleaning up poo or wee, but sick is just, well, sick! It stinks! So i had the fun task of sorting that out.

We got Jared and had dinner together. I was meant to FB Pauline to cancel our date tonight and forgot. Clearly the wrong thing to do. I went to Julies to have my hair trimmed up, she did a great job. After that i came home to watch rubbish on TV before going to bed. A sour end to the day I must say!

Haircut Time!

Today is the day I have my hair cut off. Eeeeeek! I am feeling nervous now as I'm no longer counting down days! I'm meeting the buyer in a hotel in Cardiff - i know it sounds a bit dodgy, my brother Thomas is driving down to come with me. I had the nice surprise of seeing Jakey too!

So i had a load of jobs to do this morning - i always find that when i come back from my parents and Jared has stayed home, it's catch up time! So i spent a good few hours getting up on the washing..etc. After that i had to bag up my eBay items for posting. I don't know why i don't do it first - i feel so much pressure to get it all sent out, especially if it's been a few days since they paid for it. I also had an ebayer asking where her item was 3 days from payment. Stupid girl, clearly doesn't read the listing. I'm not too fond of those who reside in the Heolgerrig post office, so i always do my best to get to the Pant post office. They are so nice to deal with. So i drove out to them, not realising the time. They shut in 5 minutes...i totally would have made it if it wasn't for the LEARNER DRIVER! GRRR! I have 2 hours before i have to be in Cardiff and i need to do the food shop!

I just leave the posting till after (still feeling the pressure) and went to do the food shop. I did it in 30 minutes..Yeah! I love Aldi purely for that. There is hardly a queue! I got home, unpacked and made some lunch. By then it was 2.15pm and no sign of Thomas. He was 25 MILES AWAY! Arrrrrrrrgg! I'm going to be late! I hate being late, especially when meeting someone who is giving you money, it looks like your not taking it seriously. I was desperate, like REALLY desperate, so i took my packages to Heolgerrig. Boohoo. I leave my packages with them with some money, so i could get off home. I suppose that is one good thing. Also glad that the one worker who finds printing proof of posting for each item 'a hassle' wasn't there too. Pffft.

Tom and Jake got to mine at 2.50pm, parked their car and jumped into mine before rushing to Cardiff. We weren't too late thankfully! Jake went for a walk with Ethan while Tom came with me. It didn't take long for it to be done. He grouped my hair into small sections, tied it then cut. Tom took some pictures as he did it so he could make a collage of my hair. He was done within 15 minutes and my hair was short. Really short. I actually can't believe how short it is. I had a slight freak out in my head as we drove home. And here is the finished piece;



I need to get it shaped and will be visiting Julie Jones tomorrow night to have it tidied up! Short? SHORT! ITS REALLY SHORT! I won't be wearing it down until at least 2 inches have grown, which won't take long. I have found it to be a really positive experience and would do it again, just next time not have any layers, not heat treat it too much and not loose as much. I definitely recommend it if you are thinking of doing it.

Tom and Jake didn't stay long, they had a bagel and went. The traffic was really bad for them on the way, taking an extra 45 minutes than it should to get here. They just chilled for a bit;

I loves my browsers! I picked Jared up from Uni before going to Peter and Pauline's for Philly's Birthday tea. Chilli cheese chicken with creamy mash. Yum! Definitely a favourite in our family. It was nice to get together again and spent time chatting. Jared needed to get back to do some study so we headed home, put Ethan to bed and i spent the evening not doing much. The hair shock is just too overwhelming!

Unexpected bargains! LOVES IT!

I have a mega busy day ahead of me. It's one of those days where i have to make a list for everything i have to do! Manic! I dropped Jared off at the bus station and came home to finish getting ready for the day. After all that, Ethan and i went into town.

I had to get Jared some stationary for his Uni first from Tesco (Everyday i have a task from him!) and then took Ethan to get his hair cut. I usually go to John Headington's shop as i like the walk in style - i am rubbish for booking ahead. Ethan HATES having his haircut but i must say he did considerably better than last time. It wasn't till the very end that i had to hold his hands and head. I love it when his hair is freshly cut, look how handsome he is;


As we came from the shop Ethan was sobbing. I haven't even taken him to the dentist yet - what will he be like for that?! I had some eBay packages to drop off so i did them at the post office. It feels like it's never ending! I hate it when a person doesn't pay for ages resulting in several trips to the post office. I always have a pang of worry when I'm paying for it to be sent, thinking, 'are they going to leave me negative?' I have got my feedback score to 442 with only 1 neutral which eBay withdrew. I wonder who will be the buyer to ruin that? Anyway..

I bought Ethan a little bag of sweets for being a good boy in the hairdressers while i bought a quarter of lemon bon bons. Let's just say the little bag of sweets were not touched! Cheeky Ethan wanted mine! As we were walking back to the car i noticed that Littlewoods Clearance store were doing a big sale on the first floor. They don't have a lift in the store and i had Ethan in the pram so i asked an assistant if i could leave it at the foot of the stairs while i had a look. It was like she was doing a health and safety examination?! She ummed and arred for a good 2 minutes! Flip woman! IT'S A PRAM! Thankfully i was granted special permissions..phew. When i got upstairs i couldn't believe the prices. Everything was £2! I didn't really have much chance to go through the rails as Ethan was loose so i only picked up a few items, vowing to come back tomorrow with the small pram.

When we got back to the car i nipped home and put what i had bought straight on ebay then drove to the Littlewoods Clearance next door to Morrisons in Ebbw Vale to check their deals. Bit of a waste as i only came away with one dress and the woman behind the desk moved at a glacial pace. And half way to getting there, Jared called to say he was at Merthyr Bus Station. Gutting! I need to befriend a person in each store and get them to text me when a killer deal comes in OR make someone i know work there. Haha. I had to hurry back for Jared - he had been waiting a while and wasn't too happy. Sorry babes!

When we got home i had to get dinner on before heading down the Church for the Missionary meeting. I couldn't find them any where in the building and just as i was about to leave, I saw Eldo who pointed me in the right direction. Good job too, better late than never! Glen was trying to make a movie to be handed out during the Panto week and asked me to be in it. I had to say no - i hate being on camera! On the way home i popped into Esme's to say hello the Cassie Wattsian! I stayed for a bit. Man i love those girls. I feel like when we are together it's like I'm 17 again, they had me in proper full on stitches. Hahahaha! I couldn't stay long because Jared has football to go to.

Tedious Ebay Posting.

I feel so much better today! Yippeeee! Ethan and i had a nice lazy morning together. While he watched Thomas the Tank i worked and and did a little cooked breakfast for us both. He loves bacon and eggs at the moment and asks for it all the time. After getting out of the bath, we heard a really loud noise outside our house. I looked out the window and saw that our washing machine was being taken! Farewell washing machine;




Good old council. Or gypsies. I'm not actually sure which.

Just before lunch, Ethan and i made some cookies together. I didn't have any plain flour so they did look more like mini cakes. Still tasty though. Ethan really got stuck in;



He made such a mess with the flour, i had to strip him off before he trapesed flour through the house;


After the smarties went we used Reese's peanut butter pieces. They tasted even better on the cookies.

After lunch, i got Ethan ready to walk over the Winchfawr road to the Post office to post some more ebay items. I could just wait till Jared gets in and go then but i don't want to go on the treadmill tonight. Pauline rung last night to have the Ethanator after she finished work today so i had to hurry. I set off at 2.30 to be back for 3.30 for Pauline. There is no flat - it's either up or downhill. It took a good 15 minutes to post everything and by the time i finished, it was 3.15!!! I have to walk 1.5 miles in 15 minutes pushing 3 stone up a hill! Argggggg! I will say i got my house just after 3.35pm and Pauline had only been waiting 5 minutes, yey! She took him with his jammies and would bring him back for bedtime.

Jared was home half hour later and suggested we get a take out and watch Fringe - my perfect date night! Jared got an Indian and i a Nando's salad (got to watch the weight seeeeeeee ;)). It was so nice to just be together without the little dictator running around between us. Haha. Ethan came home and went straight to bed and Jared and I watched some more fringe before beddies.

I have to say, i'm getting a little fed up of the ebaying. I don't mind listing and picture taking - it's the lack of protection sellers have. Surely the whole reason ebay works is because of people selling? I met another lady in the post office today that has had endless problems with people claiming their money back. She then spots them selling the item they bought on.. it's not right! What do you think?

Mucky face!

I love having a laptop again - it's so nice to get on with stuff while looking on here! I can sit down stairs and blog, go to bed and blog, sit and watch a movie and blog...see the pattern? Haha.

Ethan and i took Jared to the bus stop this morning, came home and had breakfast. I desperately needed to post the maxi dress out today so i put the iron on to press it. I did two strokes with the iron and Ethan decided to run up to the dress and put his mouth on it. Stupid silk! I was NOT happy! This means i have to wash it again for the 3rd time! And my washing machine is so stupid..arg! It took me a minute to calm down..

I put a movie on for Ethan and i to sit and watch (A Series of Unfortunate Events) while i ploughed through all the stuff i need to put on ebay. It's so cool that you can link computers through the internet, i didn't have to fuss with putting the ebay pictures on here. I managed to get over 40 items online and i already have a few watchers on my stuff. It's amazing how much money you can accumulate from selling unwanted items. Ethan did some posing with the webcam;

I got a text from Cheryl to say she was heading to the park with Jesse and Rafael if i wanted to join - because of the stupid dress i had to wait till it was finished in the stupid washing machine to put it out on the line. Thankfully it was done quickly and Esme gave me a call to ask if i was coming. Yey! So i went up to the new park in Cyfartha and had some fun with Esme, Cheryl, Ellie, Jesse and Rafael. Ethan and I have never visited this park before so it was fun!

We got home for 3.00pm and i just put a few things on ebay before we picked Jared up. When we were all in the car, Ethan was singing along to the CD we had on. Jared caught his moves on camera;



I told Jared about the new park that we visited and he suggested going up after dinner, so we did. Again! Ethan loved it! We took a few pictures and videos of the fun we had;



The weather has been amazing again this October, it wasn't too cold for the time of night it was. Ethan loved it! When we got in, Ethan went straight to bed. Jared started to work out and i ironed that annoying dress. It's all been bagged up ready to go. First thing tomorrow i am posting it, OUT OF MY LIFE! Hahaha.

Tomorrow we are all going to St. Fagans, so that should be fun! It's now my turn to work out, i have some blubber to get rid of. After working out Jared and i will be sitting down to an episode of Fringe.
