Failed Swimming Attempt.

I didnt get a chance to go back to the post office yesterday to top up any money i owed, so after getting ready for the day and running daddy to the bus stop, Ethan and I made the trip. I AM NEVER POSTING AN ITEM THERE AGAIN. EVER. I entered and endured the frostiness that is the customer service. I had a bit of a dispute with the delight that has worked there for a few years and felt that the owner's wife had taken my side. Clearly not. FROSTY THE SNOWMAN. I owed £11.87. Could she tell me that properly? No. So i drove to town and back to get some money back. She huffed and tapped her foot while i paid. I have to ask, WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE? And why on earth is she holding a huff? Stupid backwards town. Grr! So, i think i can safely say i won't be going there again, even if it means waiting 4 days to get to the Pant post office.

After that joyful meeting, i went to town to drop off my mum's clothes at the dres makers. There is a Thai lady in the market who does and excellent job of fixing stuff. Sa -wad -ee -ka! I also popped into my favourite store, Littlewoods clearance. I bought 7 dresses for £26. Lets see if i can make it back. I love earning money, it's so satisfying. I've had to put a ban on my spending on ebay as i'm not really seeing the profit and i have a big amount due to ebay. Oppps.

When we got home, i went upstairs to send some emails and came down to this;

Oh what fun! It was great to hoover up too - my dyson cannister is white. I fixed him some lunch and made a big pot of chilli for tea before packing up our stuff to go swimming. I always slightly unsure of going, due to our fun time last time. Thankfully he had pooed already for the day so the chances of it happening again are slim. I just finished packing up the bag when Ethan had a massive coughing fit. So bad that he started wretching. I got him to the toilet 2 times too late. He was sick in the toilet, then turned to me before hitting the carpet again. Great. Swimming is off the table. I don't mind cleaning up poo or wee, but sick is just, well, sick! It stinks! So i had the fun task of sorting that out.

We got Jared and had dinner together. I was meant to FB Pauline to cancel our date tonight and forgot. Clearly the wrong thing to do. I went to Julies to have my hair trimmed up, she did a great job. After that i came home to watch rubbish on TV before going to bed. A sour end to the day I must say!

Haircut Time!

Today is the day I have my hair cut off. Eeeeeek! I am feeling nervous now as I'm no longer counting down days! I'm meeting the buyer in a hotel in Cardiff - i know it sounds a bit dodgy, my brother Thomas is driving down to come with me. I had the nice surprise of seeing Jakey too!

So i had a load of jobs to do this morning - i always find that when i come back from my parents and Jared has stayed home, it's catch up time! So i spent a good few hours getting up on the washing..etc. After that i had to bag up my eBay items for posting. I don't know why i don't do it first - i feel so much pressure to get it all sent out, especially if it's been a few days since they paid for it. I also had an ebayer asking where her item was 3 days from payment. Stupid girl, clearly doesn't read the listing. I'm not too fond of those who reside in the Heolgerrig post office, so i always do my best to get to the Pant post office. They are so nice to deal with. So i drove out to them, not realising the time. They shut in 5 minutes...i totally would have made it if it wasn't for the LEARNER DRIVER! GRRR! I have 2 hours before i have to be in Cardiff and i need to do the food shop!

I just leave the posting till after (still feeling the pressure) and went to do the food shop. I did it in 30 minutes..Yeah! I love Aldi purely for that. There is hardly a queue! I got home, unpacked and made some lunch. By then it was 2.15pm and no sign of Thomas. He was 25 MILES AWAY! Arrrrrrrrgg! I'm going to be late! I hate being late, especially when meeting someone who is giving you money, it looks like your not taking it seriously. I was desperate, like REALLY desperate, so i took my packages to Heolgerrig. Boohoo. I leave my packages with them with some money, so i could get off home. I suppose that is one good thing. Also glad that the one worker who finds printing proof of posting for each item 'a hassle' wasn't there too. Pffft.

Tom and Jake got to mine at 2.50pm, parked their car and jumped into mine before rushing to Cardiff. We weren't too late thankfully! Jake went for a walk with Ethan while Tom came with me. It didn't take long for it to be done. He grouped my hair into small sections, tied it then cut. Tom took some pictures as he did it so he could make a collage of my hair. He was done within 15 minutes and my hair was short. Really short. I actually can't believe how short it is. I had a slight freak out in my head as we drove home. And here is the finished piece;



I need to get it shaped and will be visiting Julie Jones tomorrow night to have it tidied up! Short? SHORT! ITS REALLY SHORT! I won't be wearing it down until at least 2 inches have grown, which won't take long. I have found it to be a really positive experience and would do it again, just next time not have any layers, not heat treat it too much and not loose as much. I definitely recommend it if you are thinking of doing it.

Tom and Jake didn't stay long, they had a bagel and went. The traffic was really bad for them on the way, taking an extra 45 minutes than it should to get here. They just chilled for a bit;

I loves my browsers! I picked Jared up from Uni before going to Peter and Pauline's for Philly's Birthday tea. Chilli cheese chicken with creamy mash. Yum! Definitely a favourite in our family. It was nice to get together again and spent time chatting. Jared needed to get back to do some study so we headed home, put Ethan to bed and i spent the evening not doing much. The hair shock is just too overwhelming!

I enjoyed another lovely lie in today - apart from being waken up at 6.00am by my sister going to seminary and Ethan coming in to say hello. Only Jake and Dad were in, it's weird being in such an empty house.

Washed and dressed, i decided to help mum with her ironing pile. I did it all! IT TOOK HOURS! There were like, 3 table clothes, a million T-shirts and shirts. I managed to watch Avatar and Bee movie before i was done. I had to coax Jacob off COD mind, so Ethan could have something to watch, Cod addict! My legs were killing after all that standing up, i even tried sitting on a chair and ironing, but doesn't really work. Owwiee legs!

Mum doesn't usually get home till after dinner so i took the bull by the horns and made a quiche with Jacket potato and veggies. It was really tasty! I made a red onion and bacon filling;

I also made a family home evening treat of cakies. I had to send Thomas the the shop first to pick up some eggs, butter and sweets for decorating. I then had to send dad to go and get some more eggs and the butter, haha! Dinner always takes ages in the Bridgwater household. Poor Jakey was doing the washing up (broken dishwasher) and it took him a whole hour. Here are my completed cakes- i forgot to tell my dad to get UNSALTED butter for the buttercream icing, so they had a bit of a savoury kick ;) ;

Still, they went quite quickly after FHE. My dad taught a brief lesson on Jonah and the Whale involving Ethan as Jonah and Thomas as the Whale. 'More? Again?' were repeated many times! Hahaha! Funny boy! Ethan went to bed pretty quickly after the cake munching, he was so tired. I spent the next half hour trying to get my dad to change the channel. I've noticed that paupsie decides alot of what is watched, including STARTREK and DOCTOR WHO/POO! Noooooo! I don't mind a bit of it, but not all night! PLEASSEE! We had to endure Miss Marple on Friday night :S

Rachel had been painting all evening in preparation for some project and eventually came and watched a programme with me called, 'Weird little me' or something like that. We watched a man who liked to pluck...ahem, a list maker, a poo photo taker, a skip raider and a bumble bee collector. I no longer feel weird. Come on people! Don't be weird!

Jake and Tom then joined us to watch a programme called, 'The Little House'. It's the first time I've seen it but Jake and Rae were familiar with it. It was like a psychological thriller and i am totally going to by it when it comes on DVD. Jared will love it too! I won't give the plot away but if you like thrillers, WATCH IT! I might get it for Christmas for the babes....

I caught up on the News, spoke to Jared before going to bed. I'm hooked on this word game on my phone and play it almost every night before bed. Geeeeeeeeeeek!

I have eaten so much crap over the past 4 days, i feel disgusting. I have DEFINTATELY GAINED WEIGHT! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I have the worst will power when i come to my mum's, but when i get home, for the first week it's like STEEL. Seriously need to get it sorted.

I have arranged a date to have the big chop - Tuesday 16th November and ill get 150 for it. A few people have said 'it's not worth it! Your hair is so much more than that..' blah blah blah. I would love to see them go through a Tyra Banks Next Top Model make over. I'M DOING IT! I have been wondering what to do with the money...hmmmmmm...
