Riding the little Train.

I feel so bad for Ethan. He comes into us around 7am and neither Jared or I can get up to sort him out for breakfast. He comes and sits in between us chatting away and trying to attack Lills, the poor girl. It was a bit of a lazy morning really. I had to put away a mountain of washing away and do some general hoovering and tidying. By the time we were all washed and dressed, it was 11.30 ish.Jared had made himself some eggs and bacon and gave Ethan some. I've had a bit of a struggle getting Ethan to eat certain foods, so seeing him tuck into an egg is awesome!;

We decided to go to P&P's to see if they wanted to do something together and have some lunch. When we got there, Sam was watching a football match. This means that Jared will be watching the football match, resulting in us not going anywhere! We finally got out the door about 2ish, 2 hours after arriving and headed to Cyfartha park to see little train. For all the wives who have no option but to endure football, i feel your pain. We did eventually get to the park;

Sam and Ethan had already got on the train when i got there. Jared is always optimistic with the weather, hence the shorts;

We were all laughing at this point. We all had a baptism to go to for 5 and could go home to get changed - Sam had to fill the font at 3pm so it would have been pointless to go home to get changed so Sam came in his suit. I really don't know why it's so funny, but all of us were laughing at him in his suit on the train;

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!;

Jared, Ethan and I went on next, it was rather fun actually;

Jared and Sam had to leave us - Sam to fill the font and Jared to help in the convention. I had no idea of the woodland walk behind Cyfartha Castle! It's like a little retreat! Pauline and Ethan had spotted a few squirrels. Nothing quite like shouting as loud as you can to scare them off;

Thankfully the rain left a little bit! Two dogs were being walked by their owner and Ethan FREAKED out! He has a real fear of dogs! Whenever i would take Ethan to school walking over the Wynch, there would be a few dogs that would jump out and bark aggressively - i think this is where the problem started. Plus, i don't like dogs either :S

Ethan played in the park for a bit before the heavens opened. We waited for a gap in the rain, but it didn't come, so we had to run down to the car and get soaking wet. We have had the worst summer ever this year. I dropped P&P back at home and then took myself home to change for the baptism. None of my clothes fit yet :( That is the most depressing bit of having a baby! I managed to facetime Thomas for a little bit before i had to go.

The baptism was lovely- it was a member from HOV ward, Glyn Sadler. Jared popped in to see it from the Youth Convention. I got to catch up with Sarah Hutchingson too! We all went back to Peter and Pauline's where they had sausage and chips (i resisted, whoop!) and talked about our family holiday next year. I think we plan on going to Greece. It's so strange to be talking about this holiday - the day before i had Lills, Philly, Jared, P&P and I all sat in their garden planning this very holiday. We were going to go to France as Philly served there on her mission, but it's just too hard. We are going to rent a Villa for two weeks, it's going to be fun, especially as Lills will be older, possibly walking by then!

When we got home and put the kids to bed, i watched another two episodes of Downton Abbey before going to bed. The new season starts tomorrow! :)

Freezing Park Time.

It's so cold today! We all went to bed far too late last night, as Ethan and i didn't get up till 8.30! And we had to take Jared to the bus stop in our Jammies. Hehe.

I was meant to work out this morning on our bike, but, like always, i delayed and delayed and ended up not doing it. I hate doing it, it's so boring! But the effects are so lush...i need to do it!!

After lunch Ethan and went to the park to meet Cheryl. She was running late so i did a few jobs like getting petrol and posting an ebay item..when i reached the park, i couldn't get over how cold it was! It was freezing! After 15 minutes Ethan had had enough. I checked my phone and saw that Cheryl couldn't make it. We went straight to the car! I couldn't get warm quick enough!

We went home and made some dinner before getting daddy. I had a quick FHE with Ethan and Jared before finishing off Season 2 of Fringe. It is brilliant. I recommend to anyone to watch it!

Forget the Change Bag?

So no lie in today. Everyone was out the door before 9am so i had to roll out of bed. Jared rung me at 11.30pm so i was kept up a little later than normal. It was painful to get up! What am i going to do when i go home?

I spent the morning flicking through Asos again and bought some more stuff from the money i raised last week. It's so satisfying not dipping into our own pocket - i just need to take a break from the spending! Ethan and i watched Bee movie again before getting washed and dressed. Tom and Jake chilled with us too! Ethan loves his uncles. I had a lovely hot bath before getting dressed. I tried to get Ethan in the bath but he kept running away - he drinks so much everyday, his nappies are hanging off him;






Hahaha! It's so funny! We got ready for the park and strapped ourselves in the pram, clever boy;




We couldn't stay long because Ethan pooed and i didn't bring a change bag! Doh! So i had to go home, he was quite happy to go, sitting in poo isn't too pleasant.

A few hours at home of train playing Ethan and i went with Dad to get Rachey so i could get some bits to cook with from Aldi;



I was going to make some Philly Brownies.I had to get a box of butter Fudge too. Ohh it's so good! This is the finished product;


And it tasted pretty good! Exuse the off picture, i still haven't mended the camera :( Mum came in earlier tonight at 6.00pm, but this stupid essay she has to complete is taking all her time. Gutting.
For part of the night I watched a programme on the German concentration camps - what a horrible time. It makes me feel sick. Little Josh came in from Youth with Rachel and was so funny - 'I''ll kick them in the head!'

I kept Ethan up far to late tonight, going to bed at 8.30pm. He was drifting on the sofa, bless :)

Anyway, blog, bed, chat with Jared and a play on the addictive word game!

A Day at St Fagans!

Today Cheryl, Esme, Emma Jane and I plus kiddies are going to visit St. Fagans! It's a free Museum of Welsh Life in Cardiff - a perfect combo for having a day to entertain the kids. I was on my feet from the moment i was up - doing the morning routine, getting in and making a packed lunch, a few house hold chores before stopping off to pick Esme up to meet at Cheryls. Cheryl was going with Emma Jane so Esme and I just went ahead. I had to post this STUPID silk dress to London - I caught Esme doing me the honours of sending it (She wanted to check out the new owners of the post office too);


It's amazing how one/two little people can affect our lives. Setting up prams, packing on bags, coating up...etc it all takes time! But it wasn't long before we were ready to go. We all headed to the park first for lunch as we were STARVING! As we were eating, Jesse had climbed up the jungle gym to the monkey bars and decided to attempt them by himself. Bearing in mind that to get into the play area you have to walk a distance - Jesse just hung there for 15 seconds crying, 'Mummy! Mummy!'. Cheryl ran around to help him half laughing at him - it was the best moment of the day!;

It made me laugh at the amount of equiptment we need for a day out. We even took it in turns to watch the prams. Esme's turn;

They were all watching a cow being milked. I got to say, the smell was horrendous;

I didn't know that St. Fagans had a bakery. Every time we go, i find something new! I did actually buy a load of apple bon bons. I felt really sick after eating half a pound of them. Ergh! Esme even took them off me. Definately giving myself some time before eating any more. Maya and Ethan are having a sit down together;

There was a big cluster of turkey's running loose - they jumped onto the top of a model urinal to have a look at everyone. Cheryl hates birds, Esme got a picture stood by them and i ran past, screaming slightly. Cheryl looks on, hoping they go away;



Jesse has a small problem with listening to mummy, and poor mummy can't keep up with him while holding Rafael - he had to spend some time in the buggy, much to his displeasure. So flipping cute though;



He just can't seem to leave animals alone. Ethan spent most of the day chasing some form of animal;

He then decided to jump into the water. I had no change of clothing for him what so ever;

As Esme and i loaded the prams into the car, Ellie was giggling so much at Ethan. It was super cute! She is such a poppet;



I called Jared to tell him we were all still in Cardiff from our day out, so we detoured to pick him up from Uni. I still get excited to see my babes! When we got in i was so tired, i just couldn't face making tea. Jared wasn't happy! Haha. He did fix himself something, begrudingly. Our landlord said that a boiler inspector was coming to do a check for us. He called me in the day and said he was coming at 5.30. He was spot on time and when i opened the door, it's the plumber that visited our old house a few times! We were shocked - he was so unreliable and had such a potty mouth, we couldn't believe he was back in our lives! I keep praying our boiler doesn't break so we don't have to see him! Hahaha!

Jared headed out to foot ball while i ebayed. We finished the night with a Fringe. I love watching stuff with my babes! Really good day today :)
