Celebrating the life of Pearl Pengilley

Today is Pearl's funeral. We are all due to leave at 12.30pm to meet at Marks to then go to the chapel.Jared and i decided to go swimming together before getting ready, so we pack our swim stuff, pay the pay and display, walk in with Ethan and Sam to find out its not open! What kind of pool is not open before 1pm??? Grrrrrrrr. Ethan was so sad. We just decided to head back to the house, shower up and walk into town.There is a brilliant shop in the middle of Cardigan called 'Yum Yums' which, whenever i visit, i make a trip to, so we did that instead. It's an old school sweet shop and they have all 4 walls lined with tubs of sweets. It's so overwhelming! I need a good 10 minutes before i can decide. I ended up spending £7.00....ON SWEETS! Crazzy.

It wasn't long before we all had to go and get ready. We met a Mark's house then drove to the church. After the ceremony we drove to the
grave side then back to the chapel for food. It was a lovely ceremony, and the family did so well. They day moved really quickly, we all went back to Mark's for food again, which i did eat :) Nice big carb and sweet fest for me today. BACK ON THE DIET TOMORROW!

On the way home the moon looked so pretty, lighting up the whole sky. Ethan was so tired and ready for bed, this is just before he fell asleep. He kept saying, 'mummy, cheese?' for me to take a picture;
He looks so cute in his little suit. Rachel Pengilley gave Ethan a train set she had - he was so grateful. You can see where he had much fun running through deep muddy puddles too by the state of the trouser bottoms.
