Unexpected Trip

Today has not gone how i thought it would. I took Jared to the bus stop, came home and started to catch up on my blogging. I was just about to work out and i get a call from Jared at 11.00am. He was meant to bring a video tape with him to uni that his class were going to watch at in 2 hours and forgot. He sounded so desperate i couldn't say no. I had to frantically get myself ready and presentable, and head out the door. I didn't even have time make little chimps some lunch! I got to the university for midday much to Jared's relief. He said that the lecturer would have been ticked, almost like in school. There is nothing worse than anticipating a telling off and not being able to do anything to stop it!

I wanted to go to Toy's R Us before going Ethan's birthday and now that i was in Cardiff, i might as well go now. I hadn't really thought this through with the regards to Ethan, the poor boy didn't know where to look with all the Thomas Tank stuff. I bought him a Thomas the tank mat that you can draw your own train track and the train follows;

I think he's going to love it. They also were selling off Thomas Trains half price because they have changed their packaging. I can't wait to see his face at Christmas! He loves his Thomas so much! After a good search, i got what i wanted and we headed home. Flippin starving! I munched my way through some lunchies and so did Ethanog.

I made dinner in preparation for Jared coming home - he was running late from Uni and i had a
meeting at 6.30pm. Jared came in at 6.20 and i had to go straight to the chapel for Ward Council. Once that was complete, i changed to stay on for helping with the Pantomine. It's a week tonight that the first show will start and they are all a bit panicked. They haven't done a full run through yet due to time being take up with setting up the stage and scenery. I feel bad that i haven't been down to help more, but bringing Ethan down the chapel aswell would only spell disaster. I painted the cobbles on a piece of scenery - ill take a picture of it on the night. After that there wasn't alot more i could do as alot of the scenery needed to dry. I watched them rehearse for a bit before Jared finally came to pick me up. It was 10.00pm! He'd gone to his mum's with Ethan to watch a Tottenham Hotspur match. Poor Ethan was so tired and walked straight to bed. Naughty Jared for keeping him up - i know that Ethan will be saddies in the morning from being so tired.

Straight to bed for me while Jared stayed up to finish some work on his Uni presentation. I didn't even hear him come to bed.
