Relief Society Rocks!

Lills is amazing - she slept from about midnight to 6.30am! Wahoooo! I was still feeding Ethan at this point 2 to 3 times a night! Jared was to go to Cwmbran today to meet the people he was interviewing for his dissertation. Twenty thousand words that bad boy has to be! I completely forgot that he was going, so i took the morning easy, thinking he would be around to help sort the kids out. Well, i quickly realised not! I have to take Lills in the bath with me for her own protection. When it came for me to wash my hair..etc, i lay her in her towel next to the bath. Ethan's sensor detected me doing this, proceeded to run into the bathroom and put his full weight on her leg before running away. She was howling. Why does he do it??!! IT'S SO FRUSTRATING!! It took ages to calm her down before i pinched her skin doing a popper up. The poor girl was howling again :( I felt so bad!

I started to go through Philly's clothing, keeping what i want and selling the rest to go to the family holiday next year. It's going to be a mamouth task. Ethan sat and watched a movie while i did it. I then started to empty my wardrobe to make room. Well, it took alot longer than i thought it would. I've not even finished it yet.

Jared came home from his Cwmbran visit - it went really well. Yey! He disappeared upstairs after his parents left to type up his notes. I dropped Ethan off at school before continuing on with sorting the clothing, not that i got to do much as little Lills wanting cuddles. I have so much stuff that i can sell! It's going to take ages to get through!

Today is the day that Lill's gets her first lot of jabbies. I feel so sad for her :( They are at 2.30pm, clashing with school time pick up so Jared stepped in to help. He dropped me off at the Morlais Medical centre for her jabs, weigh in and medical. She has gone down from 10.12 to 10.11 and a half. Now i'm thinking the weigh in last week isn't right - they said she had gained 9oz in a week. She tanks down her feeds! Her medical was fine, and the jabs bit was awful. She had just drifted off to sleep too. I remember doing this on Ethan and making Jared come too as i couldn't stand the tears and crying. My poor bubsie girl! I was in and out of different rooms for the hour i was there, so while being in the waiting room i saw Debbie Drew and her little girl! The last time i saw her was in another waiting room at Prince Charles Hospital - she was 14 weeks pregnant and i had just had another miscarriage. She is such a nice person, so friendly and kind. It was good to see her again. Jared came to get me after getting Ethan.


After getting home, i served up dinner and headed out to Aldi to do a quick shop. Jessica had asked me to get some hot chocolate for tonight's activity. I had completely run out of meat too so i thought Aldi would do the trick. Well, i completely forgot that Aldi don't do hot chocolate! Well, not the type i wanted to get. So it was a dash into Tesco too. I ended up getting more food than i needed! Haha.

Pauline and Peter came over to baby sit for us as Jared was coming to the church too. I was late because it took so long for Jared to get ready, the naughty boy. I'm seeing a pattern now with getting out on time...it's virtually impossible!

The night went really well. It was based on ideas for FHE. Eve made a board game for little ones, Julie Jones made an iron rod that has scenarios on paper all over them which you had to answer truthfully. If you chose right, you had a treat. If not, you had a concequence. I had the question, 'do you attend the Temple every month?' The answer was obviously no, so i had to impersonate a chicken! It was such a good night. There were no more than 20 sisters there as Sunday was thin on the ground in attendance. I love getting to know the sisters in the ward, it was such a good laugh together too. We served up the hot chocolate with some treats to close.

When i got in, i had to go to bed, i was so tired! Jared was at football and when he came home, he wasn't long behind me.

Busy Bum.

I struggled to make a dinner last night because our cupboard is so bare. I do a big food shop once every two weeks because i like such a big mix of food, but recently I've been doing a top up shop in the second week always costing more than it should! So this morning, i'm going to do a proper food shop and think more about the meals than the price. I had to pre warn Jared about the cost which he agreed too. This was the outcome; And it came to £126!! I can't believe it! Food is tooooo expensive. I'm dreading to think what the VAT increase is going to do in January?! Ethan was my helper today too, selecting out some bottles of wine; Hahahaha! He was very helpful. When we got in, it took ages to unpack and put away and he was a proper little helper. Until he found the yogurts and hid in the corner eating all 6 tubs. Monkey! I checked my facebook quickly and noticed Jenny, a lady who lives round the corner was desperate for a babysitter for her boys while she attended a hospital appointment within the next half hour. So for the next few hours Ethan had a playmate. He played well too, i love it when he behaves. We watched Monsters Inc together and i made some banana bread. I have never been to a hospital appointment and been seen there and then, poor Jenny was left sitting for over an hour before being seen. After she picked Finn up she invited me to go to Adventure land with her later on! I got on with some odd jobs of cleaning up and packing some ebay items before heading to adventure land for 2.30pm. I forgot it was half term so it was packed. I sat with Jenny and her two friends (they were very nice!) while Ethan played. One of them had just had a baby girl and she was tiny. The mum that is! It was like she hasn't been pregnant. I still feel nervous just letting Ethan play because of his previous track record but it was without incident. Yey. I left him play for a few hours while i chatted with Jen before having to go and get Jared. He had left his phone at home again so it was a case of guessing when he was coming. As we sat and waited, the effects of sitting still for just two minutes were having it's toll on Ethan; Nah night.

Our cross trainer is broken again (grrrr!) and Jared has had enough of getting it repaired so we opted for buying a new exercise bike from Argos. They seem to be selling like hot cakes at the moment so i reserved one on Sunday night and must get it by tonight. It's not bad either;


I picked it up while Jared waited in the car- it was so heavy. As i was setting it up later, an advert came on for a free gift card for any thing bought over £50 starting tomorrow. I was gutted! Stupid timing! I was tempted to take it back and buy something else tomorrow but it isn't worth the trouble. STUPID ARGOS!

Philly came for dinner while her family were in London - i did a curry with banana bread for pudding. I have just rushed all day today and feel exhausted. Jared wanted to show Philly the first episode of Fringe while i built the bike. Bed time couldn't come quick enough!
