Painting Decorations and Panto Fun!

Ethan and i finished off our decorations today. Ethan painted it first then glued on some glitter stars and pom pom's. Here is his finished result;

I'm really chuffed with them and can't wait to hang them on the tree. Ethan is pretty impressed too. If you are looking to do something with the kids for Christmas, make salt dough! I made a decoration for baby no 2 as i'd like to think there will be one with us next Christmas. Fingers crossed. After the fun, i had to clean up - the house is in a bit of a state! We have to be out the door by 6.15 to get a good seat tonight at the Panto. So i got ready, cleaned and made dinner in time. Jack and the Beanstalk is the story, i can't wait to see it!

We all had so much fun. Ethan didn't even get scared, super brave boy! Of course, my camera still isn't mended so i used philly's iphone. Not so good on capturing motion.

When Jared and i got home, we decided to go out for dinner tomorrow at Nandos with the rest of the family. Totally looking forward to it!

Scanner Time!

Christmas has been on my mind the last week - it is only 78 days away! Jared has only just started his masters and the bursary's and grant's won't stretch further than our living expenses, so this year I'm going to be creative. I don't want to give too much away as i know some of my family read this, so when the time comes, i shall reveal all! Or, just ask me in person. Haha! It does involve looking through old photo's of the family and scanning them in to the computer. A few weeks ago when was last up at my parents, my mum was frantically looking for the car potty we all used ready for Ethan. Now i have always said to mum that i think some photo's are missing as there are gaps in the pictures. While looking in the attic, she found two big boxes of them! I was so chuffed!

So today, i have spent most of the day going through all the photos, laying out the ones i want to scan in and then replace them in the right packet. It took a lot of patience! I didn't get it all done today so i will have to do some more tomorrow, but it was so fun to see picture's have never seen before of my parents. I added a few to share with you;

I will pick my favourites ready for the Christmas present - i need to start soon as i have about 5 different ones to make! Arg! I love it though, Christmas is so special.

Later on in the day my dad received a telephone call from Uncle Robert, my mum's only brother (She is one of 8). He was over on business and wanted to come and say hello. It was a really lovely surprise to see him. He has a full on Northern Irish accent. After dinner together, i was going out to see Becky Freeman for the evening. She is living with her parent's while Kyle, her husband, trains in his dad's business. She is 14 weeks pregnant, so exciting! It was so much fun to catch up, we chatted right up until i was out the door. We even made a visit to my favourite place...TESCO!!!! Yeah baby! Hahahahaha! When i got in it was 11.30, so i just went straight to bed - was pooped!
